Division of Math and Science

The Division of Math and Science has the mission of offering students the opportunity to learn mathematics and science in an environment that both encourages, challenges, and assists student in developing the skills necessary to succeed in the STEM marketplace. All programs within Division of Math and Science have a focus on application of the discipline to the real world and using science and mathematics to improve our world by civic engagement.

Students who declare a major within Division of Math and Science must meet all the requirements for their degree as specified in the catalog. In addition, Division of Math and Science students must get a C- or higher in all programmatic courses for graduation with a Division of Math and Science degree. Getting a grade lower than a C- in a program course will require that the student repeat the course prior to graduation.
