The College of Science, Technology, and Mathematics (CSTM) houses two departments: The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and the Department of Natural Science. CSTM has the mission of offering students the opportunity to learn mathematics and science in an environment that both encourages, challenges, and assists student in developing the skills necessary to succeed in the STEM marketplace. All programs within CSTM have a focus on application of the discipline to the real world and using science and mathematics to improve our world by civic engagement.
Students who declare a major within CSTM must meet all the requirements for their degree as specified in the catalog. In addition, CSTM students must get a C- or higher in all programmatic courses for graduation with a CSTM degree. Getting a grade lower than a C- in a program course will require that the student repeat the course prior to graduation.
