Repeating Courses

Courses may be repeated. All attempts taken at Tusculum or accepted as transfer credit will be recorded on the permanent record along with the grades received. For all repeated courses, only the last attempt will be used to determine GPA and hours earned for graduation. An “R” will be placed on the transcript by each course that has been repeated. To avoid repeating coursework taken at another institution, by CLEP/DSST exams or other sources, the student MUST seek prior approval from the Tusculum University Registrar.
