2022-2023 Academic Catalog [ARCHIVED CATALOG]
Withdrawal from University
Withdrawal is the formal and official process that a student must use to notify the university that they no longer wish to continue their studies at Tusculum University. To complete a University Withdrawal, a Traditional Studies student should apply directly to the Director of Academic Advising for the proper withdrawal procedure. An Adult and Online Studies student who wishes to withdraw from the University should notify their Academic Advisor. Official withdrawal is effective upon the University’s receipt of the completed electronic withdrawal form. Dropping out of class without official withdrawal earns a grade of “F” in each course. A grade of “W” will be posted for the student who properly withdraws. Unless the withdrawal is initiated before classes begin or during the official University refund period, the student will be responsible for all charges for the semester. For reporting purposes, the last day of the academic activity will be determined by the University.
