ENGH 111 - Composition And Rhetoric II (Honors) Credit(s): 3 This courses emphasizes critical reading, writing and thinking skills needed for effective communication. Students examine interdisciplinary materials for themes related to citizenship and community and formulate oral and written responses. Short essays allow students to focus on thesis development and organization for researched argumentative papers, and then they practice proper use and documentation of sources in a research paper format.
Prerequisites: 27 or higher on the ACT English subscore or 650 or higher on the SAT verbal score or permission of the instructor. Offered as needed. Course Level: Undergraduate
