BIOL 490 - Research

Students will work under the mentorship of a natural sciences faculty member to carry out an independent research project. General expectations will include a comprehensive literature review of a topic not covered in the regular curriculum and laboratory work to produce original scientific results. The final product of this course may consist of, but is not limited to, a comprehensive paper or report approved by the faculty mentor.

Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor.
Repeatability: Up to a maximum of 2 credits.
