Methods for Teaching Science in the Elementary Classroom. This course is designed for pre-service K-5 elementary education candidates and will include a review of state and national science standards, inquiry teaching methods, cross curricular activities, and a review of content for life science, physical science, earth and space science and engineering (including engineering design). Cross-cutting ideas and scientific and engineering practices are emphasized.
