ENGL 326 - Literary Theory and Genre Credit(s): 3 This foundational course serves as an introduction to major theorists and schools of literary theory as well as an exploration of the ways that genre informs the reading and reception of literary texts. The course will provide a historical context for the development of different theoretical viewpoints and explore literary texts through various theoretical lenses.
Prerequisites: One-200 level literature course. Course Level: Undergraduate
