NURS 352 - Nursing Care Of Children Clinical Credit(s): 1 This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and understanding of health care problems of children and their families in lab and clinical nursing situations. Students will apply knowledge of assessment and management of patient problems related to NURS 351 course content. In addition, students will apply knowledge of concepts related to patient teaching, evidence-based practice, quality, safety and patient-centered care within the clinical arena. Students will complete a service-based learning project. Course emphasizes the development of nursing skills and the application of the nursing process in a variety of clinical settings.
Prerequisites: Admission to the nursing program and approval of the Nursing Dean. Corequisites: NURS 351 Course Level: Undergraduate Hours: 45 lab/clinical hours Pass/Fail: This course is offered on a Pass/Fail basis.
