PSYC 405 - Deviant Behavior Credit(s): 3 A theoretical analysis of the relation of deviant group behavior and subcultures to community standards of conventional behavior as expressed in law and norms. Additionally, a psychological perspective of deviant behaviors are explored as it relates to a psychosocial and biological perspective of deviance. Finally, issues of intervention and prevention are addressed.
Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and Junior standing. Course Level: Undergraduate
