WILD 203 - Wilderness Skills Credit(s): 3 Using experiential archaeology techniques, the outdoor learning environment, and American literature, students will explore the historical development of how humans have lived within their natural environments. With an emphasis upon the Appalachian frontier era, students will study and apply the techniques and skills used to produce human food, clothing, and shelter in the natural environment encountered by the region’s early pioneers.
