THEA 390 - Individual Directed Project

This course on dramaturgy focuses on the assembly of research casebooks for a play in production or a play in consideration for production. Students will learn to conduct historical, social, and cultural research and analysis, and they will develop best practices for sharing this information with actors, creative teams, and audiences in both print and digital formats. Students will be introduced to the principles of season planning and audience education and outreach.
