MATH 140 - Statistics Credit(s): 3 Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics using mainly parametric methods. Some of the major areas covered are: measures of central tendencies, measures of dispersion, distributions (such as frequency, normal, binomial and probability), correlation, regression and hypothesis testing.
Prerequisites: MATH 105 with a minimum grade of C-, or at least 31 on ALEKS Math Placement Test Assessment, or permission of the instructor. Course Level: Undergraduate
