CISC 345 - Data Analysis and Visualization


Credit(s): 3
Introduction to computation for data analysis and visualization in a programming language such as Python or R. Programming concepts including functions, scripting, loops and logic, handling of vectors and structured data are explored in the context of working with and plotting real data.

Additional automated report writing will be covered, including how to include charts and graphs into these tools. Grouping, sorting, and summarization of data will be covered within the context of report writing.
