Environmental Science, (BS)

The environmental science curriculum is designed to enhance student awareness of the physical, biological, and chemical components of the natural environment in addition to the economic, social, and political aspects of issues that may impact this environment. The environmental science major (BS) provides students with a strong background in the natural sciences in preparation for admission to competitive graduate programs and for careers in industry, state and local regulatory agencies, municipalities, state and national parks, and other environmental agencies.
