Business Administration Major, (BA)

Program Mission

To use stakeholder feedback to prepare our students for their future career as ethical, globally aware, and civic-oriented business leaders.

Curriculum

The business administration major (BA) is offered in six concentrations: accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, information technology, management, and marketing. Each concentration requires the business administration major to have a generalist background in management, accounting, economics, finance, and computer applications. Building from this knowledge base, the student continues to increase his/her skills and knowledge with the required courses of the concentration. The flexibility of the curriculum allows students to select additional business administration courses for electives.

* MATH 140 , BUSN 201 , & BUSN 202  (9 credits) are counted above as credits for the major. Those credits also satisfy requirements for the general education program (42 total credits required).

As noted above, students may use MATH 140  (Math) and BUSN 201  and BUSN 202  (Behavioral Wellness and Social Science) to satisfy both the general education and major core requirements.
