eLearning Leadership, (MA)

The Tusculum University Master of Arts in eLearning leadership is an online program that prepares candidates to address eLearning needs in numerous settings including but not limited to corporate, entertainment, manufacturing, education, etc.

Candidates will complete 30 hours of coursework of which two, three hour courses are capstone courses. Coursework will be delivered asynchronously via the Tusculum University learning management system and supported through regularly-scheduled synchronous video conference meetings.

Admission Requirements

When selecting candidates for the MA in eLearning Leadership, Tusculum University admissions team focuses on the rigor of your academic curriculum and its relevance to the MA in eLearning Leadership. As well, Tusculum University will examine your academic records along with other factors that demonstrate your ability to make real-world contributions in the field of eLearning.

Applicants to the MA in eLearning Leadership program must hold a bachelor degree or higher with a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 2.75 or 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework. Individuals with a cumulative GPA less than 2.75 can apply for conditional admission by completing and submitting a cold writing sample.

Transfer Credits

Candidates may transfer a maximum of 6 credit hours from a regionally accredited institution in which they have earned a B or better. Courses requested for transfer credit must align with MA program goals, course goals, and student learning outcomes. Capstone courses will not be considered for transfer credit. Remedial courses and courses completed on a pass/fail basis will not be considered for transfer credit.

Requests for transfer credits must include:

  • Student official transcripts,
  • Course description,
  • Course assignment list,
  • Course grading criteria, and
  • A formal written request for a transfer credit review.

Approval of transfer credits is at the discretion of Tusculum University. When there is a question about an equivalency, the department makes a final decision or substitution.
