EVSC 301 - Ecology

The organism’s relationship to its environment including factors influencing populations, communities and the distribution of organisms. Additionally, students may be required to write a scientific paper based on ecological data they have collected and analyzed. Extensive travel and fieldwork are required. Metrics used in various ecological assessments are also discussed.
