CISC 325 - Cybersecurity Credit(s): 3 This course provides a detailed perspective on protecting computer-based information in a modern networked environment. It covers a wide range of technical issues and topics including a study of network and distributed systems security; Web security; network threats: vulnerabilities and risks; computer crime; encryption and virtual private networks; and network security technologies, such as firewalls and intrusion detection.
Prerequisites: CISC 110 with a minimum grade of C-, or CISC 200 with a minimum grade of C-, or permission of the instructor. Course Level: Undergraduate
