MATH 140R - Statistics with Integrated Review Credit(s): 4 Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics using mainly parametric methods with additional instruction in background material in arithmetic and basic algebra required for engagement with statistics topics. Some of the major areas covered are: measures of central tendencies, measures of dispersion, distributions (such as frequency, normal, binomial and probability), correlation, regression and hypothesis testing.
