MATH 140R - Statistics with Integrated Review

Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics using mainly parametric methods with additional instruction in background material in arithmetic and basic algebra required for engagement with statistics topics. Some of the major areas covered are: measures of central tendencies, measures of dispersion, distributions (such as frequency, normal, binomial and probability), correlation, regression and hypothesis testing.

Prerequisites: A score between 14 and 30 on ALEKS Mathematics Placement Assessment or permission of the instructor
