The Art and Design Studies Program uses technical aspects of drawing, painting, mixed media, graphic design, and digital processes to prepare students for a career in the field of visual arts. Students demonstrate competency in their selected focus area, as well as a general command of other diverse media. Students develop and produce original and accomplished artwork and are prepared for success as working artists in the business of visual arts, either at established firms or in their own business.
