To develop civic-minded students through an active and experiential education who create & critique culture, and who advocate for courses of action to address local, national and/or global issues.
Curriculum
Communication is a highly flexible degree program. Oral and written communication skills are among the top skills employers list when asked what they want in new employees, regardless of industry. Students in the communication program at Tusculum have presence and build their communities. They are prepared for job opportunities in a variety of fields, or for continued graduate study. Students can choose to take a standard program where they select electives within the field, or they can choose a concentration specific to their interests.
