BIOL 490 - Research Credit(s): 1-8 Students will work under the mentorship of a natural sciences faculty member to carry out an independent research project. General expectations will include a comprehensive literature review of a topic not covered in the regular curriculum and laboratory work to produce original scientific results. The final product of this course may consist of, but is not limited to, a comprehensive paper or report approved by the faculty mentor. Students will receive the grade of In Progress (IP) for up to one year, until completion of their research.
Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor. Course Level: Undergraduate
