CISC 215 - Database Processing and Design Credit(s): 3 This course covers the fundamentals of database systems essential for information management. Focusing primarily on relational databases, the course presents the entity-relationship model, query processing and normalization. It provides an understanding of data modeling, database design, database implementation, and other aspects of database management. The laboratory component utilizes Microsoft Access and the SQL language.
Prerequisites: CISC 110 with a minimum grade of C-, or CISC 200 with a minimum grade of C-, or permission of the instructor. Course Level: Undergraduate
