HIST 480 - History And Contemporary Global Issues Credit(s): 3 Students will gain an appreciation for the complexity of contemporary issues by investigating them from an historical perspective. Specifically, students will apply their historical training to tracing the historical roots of global issues and events to understand how historical events and trends manifest themselves in the contemporary world. Primary and secondary sources offering multiple, global perspectives will be utilized to demonstrate an understanding of the complexity and interconnectedness of the contemporary world and its relationship to history. This course is a capstone for history and museum studies majors.
Prerequisites: Senior Standing. Course Level: Undergraduate
