PSYC 425 - Psychosocial And Medical Aspects Of Addiction Credit(s): 3 The study of the physiological, psychological, and sociological aspects of alcohol/drug use, abuse and dependence will be addressed. The course will also include etiological, behavioral, cultural and demographic aspects and belief systems about alcohol/drug use along with the processes of dependence, withdrawal, and addiction including signs, symptoms and behavior patterns.
Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and Junior or Senior standing. Course Level: Undergraduate
