NURS 341 - Childbearing And Women’s Health Nursing Credit(s): 4 This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of health care problems of women in their childbearing years and their families, and selected women’s health issues. Students will learn the assessment and management of patient problems related to course content. Concepts related to communication skills, patient teaching, evidence-based practice, ethical/legal/economic issues, and quality, safety, and patient-centered care are interwoven throughout the content. Course emphasizes the development of nursing skills and the application of the nursing process.
Prerequisites: NURS 301 , NURS 302 , NURS 311 and NURS 321 with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisites: NURS 331 , NURS 351 and NURS 363 Course Level: Undergraduate
