The RN-BSN track for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing is for students who are registered nurses and hold a valid unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN). The program is designed to meet the busy needs of the working professional nurse. Course offerings are created so a student can start any semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer) and are delivered online with minimal campus meetings. A student may pursue and attend the program on a full or part time option.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the RN to BSN Program includes the following:
- Minimum undergraduate grade point average 2.75; applicants who earned less than a “C” in two or more courses in their Nursing program will not be considered for admission.
- Proof of unrestricted Tennessee RN license is required prior to enrollment in the program.
- 1000 hours of clinical practice in the last four years OR have graduated from an accredited Nursing program within the last four years.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- 3 professional references
- Essay
- Completion of the following core courses (or equivalent):
